Shipping & Payment Policy

At Vedasri Foods, we take pride in delivering fresh, high-quality healthy snacks. Whether you are ordering a single jar for your home or bulk cartoons for your retail store, this policy outlines how we handle payments, dispatch, and delivery.
Part 1: Payment Policy
A. Accepted Payment Methods (Online & D2C)
For retail customers purchasing via our website:
- Prepaid Orders: We accept all major Indian payment modes including:
- UPI: Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM.
- Cards: Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, Maestro (Credit & Debit).
- Net Banking: All major Indian banks.
- Wallets: Paytm, Airtel Money, Freecharge, etc.
- Cash on Delivery (COD):
- COD is available.
- A flat convenience fee applies to all COD orders to cover cash handling charges charged by our courier partners.
- Verification: For high-value COD orders, our team may call or WhatsApp you to confirm the order before dispatch. If unconfirmed, the order will be cancelled or goes for pre-paid.
B. Payment Methods (B2B & Wholesale)
For distributors, retailers, and corporate clients:
- Standard Terms: All B2B orders are processed on a 100% Advance Payment basis unless a specific credit agreement is signed.
- Bank Transfer: Payments must be made via NEFT/RTGS/IMPS to our current account.
- GST Invoice: A valid GST tax invoice will be generated for every B2B transaction. Input Tax Credit (ITC) can be claimed by the buyer as per government norms.
C. Offline & Exhibition Sales
For purchases made at our stalls, exhibitions, or through sales representatives:
- We accept cash, UPI QR scan, and mobile POS card swipes.
- Digital or physical receipts will be provided instantly.
Part 2: Shipping Policy
A. Coverage & Partners
- Service Area: We ship pan India.
- D2C Partners: We use premium courier partners like for retail orders.
- B2B Partners: Bulk orders are shipped via reliable transport services or specific transporters requested by the buyer (subject to feasibility).
B. Order Processing (Turnaround Time)
- Freshness First: Unlike generic brands, we do not stockpile months-old inventory. We often pack batches fresh.
- Dispatch Time:
- Retail (D2C): Orders are dispatched within 24-48 hours of order confirmation.
- Wholesale (B2B): Orders are dispatched within 2-3 working days, depending on the quantity and stock availability.
- Cut-off Time: Orders placed after 5:00 PM will be processed the next working day.
- Sundays & Holidays: Our warehouse is closed on Sundays and National Holidays. Orders placed on these days will be processed on the next business day.
C. Delivery Timelines
Once dispatched, the estimated delivery time is:
- Metro Cities: 3 - 5 business days.
- Rest of India: 5 - 7 business days.
- North East / J&K / Remote Areas: 7 - 10 business days.
Note: These are estimates. Delays due to weather, strikes, or courier operational issues are beyond our control.
D. Shipping Charges
1. For Retail (D2C) Orders:
- Standard Shipping: As per courier partners and delivery area pin code, fee will be applied.
2. For Wholesale (B2B) Orders:
- Shipping costs are "To Pay" (Freight on Delivery) basis. The buyer pays the transporter directly upon receipt of goods.
- Alternatively, if you prefer prepaid shipping, we will calculate actual freight charges and add them to your final invoice.
E. Tracking
- D2C: You will receive an SMS/Email with a tracking link as soon as the order is packed.
- B2B: We will share the LR (Lorry Receipt) Copy or Docket Number via WhatsApp/Email once the goods are handed over to the transporter.
F. Damaged or Tampered Packages
Strict Warning:
- Please do not accept the package if the seal is broken or the box looks tampered with.
- Unboxing Video Rule: To claim any refund or replacement for damaged/missing items, an uncut unboxing video is mandatory. Without this video, we cannot raise a claim with our courier partners or process your request.
G. International Shipping
Currently, Vedasri ships only within India. We do not offer international shipping at this moment.
H. Address Errors
- It is the customer's responsibility to provide a complete and correct address (including House No, Landmark, and Pincode).
- If a package returns to us due to an incorrect address or refusal to accept delivery:
- Prepaid Orders: We will refund the amount after deducting two-way shipping charges.
- COD Orders: The customer will be blacklisted from future COD orders.
