Refunds & Cancellation

At Vedasri, we pride ourselves on the quality and freshness of our products. Due to the perishable nature of food products and strict hygiene standards, our Refund and Cancellation Policy is designed to be transparent and fair.
By placing an order with Vedasri (via our website, sales representatives, or offline channels), you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Cancellation Policy
A. For D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) Online Orders
- Cancellation Window: You may cancel your order within [4 to 6] hours of placing it, or before the order has been dispatched from our warehouse, whichever is earlier.
- How to Cancel: Please email us at vedasrifoos@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91-9755123330 with your Order ID immediately.
- Post-Dispatch: Once the order is handed over to our courier partner, it cannot be canceled. If you refuse delivery at the doorstep, a cancellation fee equivalent to the two-way shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.
B. For B2B (Bulk/Wholesale) Orders
- Order Confirmation: For B2B orders, a Purchase Order (PO) or written confirmation via Call/WhatsApp is considered binding.
- Cancellation Fees:
- If a B2B order is canceled after processing has begun but before dispatch, a 5% restocking fee will apply to cover packaging and labor costs.
- Customized orders (e.g., corporate gifting with specific branding) cannot be canceled once production has started.
2. Return Policy (General Rule: No Returns on Food)
Food Safety First: To ensure the safety and health of our customers, we do not accept returns or exchanges on any food products once they have been delivered. We cannot resell food items that have left our control, even if the packet is unopened.
3. Replacements & Refunds (The Exceptions)
We offer replacements or refunds ONLY under the following specific circumstances:
A. Eligible Scenarios
- Damaged/Tampered Packaging: The packet arrived torn, unsealed, or leaked.
- Wrong Item Delivered: You ordered Snacks Delight but received Panchmeva.
- Quality Issues: In the rare event of spoilage, fungus, or foreign objects found inside the pack upon opening.
- Missing Items: Partial delivery of the order (e.g., ordered 4 packs, received 3).
B. How to Claim (Mandatory Procedure)
To process a claim, you must follow these steps. Failure to provide proof will result in rejection of the claim.
- Timeline: You must report the issue within 24 hours of delivery.
- Evidence: You MUST provide:
- Photos: Clear images of the shipping label, the outer box, and the damaged product.
- Unboxing Video (Highly Recommended): For claims of "Missing Items" or "Tampered Package," an unboxing video is mandatory to prove the state of the package upon arrival.

4. Refund Process
Once your claim is verified and approved by our Quality Team:
- Mode of Refund:
- Pre-paid Orders: The amount will be refunded to the original source (Credit Card/UPI/Bank) within 5-7 business days.
- COD Orders: We will ask for your bank account details or UPI ID to transfer the refund. We do not provide cash refunds.
- Option for Replacement: Instead of a refund, you may choose to have a fresh replacement sent to you at no extra cost.
5. Specific Policies for Offline & B2B Sales
A. Offline/Retail Sales
- Physical Inspection: If you purchase Vedasri products from a physical store, exhibition, or pop-up stall, please inspect the packet before payment.
- No Returns: Goods once sold offline will not be taken back unless there is a manufacturing defect (e.g., internal spoilage visible only after opening). In such cases, please return the product to the point of purchase with the bill within 24 hours.
B. B2B & Distributor Claims
- Goods Receipt Note (GRN): B2B partners must verify the consignment upon arrival. Any damages or shortages must be noted on the Proof of Delivery (POD) signed by the transporter.
- Claim Window: Hidden damages (not visible on the outer carton) must be reported within 2 days of goods receipt.
- Settlement: Approved B2B claims will be settled via a Credit Note usable for future orders. We generally do not process cash refunds for B2B accounts.
6. Disclaimer on Taste
Taste is subjective. We use high-quality natural ingredients, and slight variations in taste, texture, or color (due to seasonal crop changes) are natural. We do not offer refunds simply because you did not like the taste of a product.
